PDO San Marzano peeled tomatoes. These tomatoes are known for their distinctive bitter-sweet taste, very low acidity, rich flesh and bright red colour.
The tomatoes are grown in the Agro Sarnese-Nocerino area, between the cities of Naples and Salerno in the Campania region in southern Italy.
