Loreto Caperberries in brine are the fruit of the caper. Caperberries can be served with seafood, meat, salads, pasta and pizza.
The flavor is not as intense as a caper, which has a sharp and tangy lemony flavor, thus can be eaten like an olive. They are preserved in a brine and store well for long periods of time. Used on charcuterie plates and in olive medleys, the caperberry is an excellent complement to cheese boards.
