Made in Gragnano, a town in the Campania region of the South of Italy, Formiello Penne Rigate pasta is of premium quality, made with 100% Italian durum wheat.
Made from 100% semolina flour, Formiello uses bronze dies to cut the pasta, which makes a really large difference in quality. The surface is much, much rougher, which means that the pasta cooks better and absorbs the sauce as it's meant to.
